In the kitchen of the restaurant lives SordyPardinn. He is the lead cook, and a high caliber menu item. Since he was a child he has been fattened up so that he can never leave his broth bath. He is a spiteful captive who prepares meals for lack of anything else to do. He is often ill tempered, just wanting to get through each order he is given as fast as possible. However, every so often Sordy will become depressed and saddened by his captivity. His resolve to just wait for death is always disrupted by the one person who can ever get close enough to talk to Sordy....the owner.

When Sordy gets depressed or refuses to eat, the gracious owner and host who shall for now remain nameless will appease Sordy with his one main weakness as we see here. With just one more bite of ice mint vanilla chocolate cake the rotund creature will sigh, glance away and mutter "...fine...I will cook..." Sordy is highly respected by the owner, and aside from freedom is given anything he wants. Sordy once got to pick out any of the patrons he deemed tasty and had them cooked for him while working on other orders.
